------------------ Do they keep track of that? or not? At least the original owners? If we wanted to do something like that, Chrysler could be approached about some involvement. ------------------ Anything that brings attention to the product can only be considered a good thing.... 35c stamps, to even 10,000 owners... $3,500 total investment.. not bad if you saw a stampede of Prowlers going crosscountry! ------------------ ------------------ ............and are you going to host this annual event, Dr.??? Rather sad, actually........... This message has been edited by CJ on 04-25-2004 at 09:15 PM firegabePossum9 This was something that I was thinking about last night. Chrysler produced some 11,000 Prowlers, some of us owners have become a part of the P.O.A. while there must be a larger number of owners out there that are not. Now with the Texas event on the Horizon and some others over the summer months that some will attend. I'm throwing this out there a few years ahead, but what if for a 10th Anniversary
(1997-2007)we had some kind of get together somewhere near the Conner Avenue plant or near Detroit, maybe Chrysler could
have some part in this and notify current owners by mail and if we got a quarter of the owners to show up, maybe
3,000 cars. that would be very cool. This was just a thought
and I know from the many post I read here, many of you would
enjoy putting something like this together ? I await your comments. ed monahan Possum, I will show up. Do you want to be in charge of it? lol.
It would be cool to get even 500 to show up. At the first Black Tee party they had a whole bunch of PT cruisers. D-C would have to do a mailing since we probably do not have even 10 % of the owners registered here.Possum9 I attended a PT Cruiser party a few years back, that Chrysler
had at Six Flags. There must have been 2-3,000 PT Cruisers
from across the Midwest. Chrysler had tents and a concert
along with fireworks and aftermarket parts ect., it was a good time.
My initial post was just to throw the idea out there for comment. It would be three years away, so theres plenty of time. bruce hazelton GREAT IDEA!!! Maybe CJ could convince Chrysler of it also.
Parts manager of a S. E. Wisconsin Chrysler/Ford dealership.262-763-9182 8-5 Central. 10% over cost on all parts to POA members. See post under accessories about "luggage rack price reduction".Owner of 01 Mulholland Edition with removed exhaust tip baffles, added front suspension brace, modified door hinge checks for wider opening, built screen insert behind grille to keep bugs from condensor, Mopar front splash guards, Mopar hitch, Weekender-lined with added Mulholland pinstripe and Chrysler wings emblem.GenoTex Does Chrysler know who the owners are? CJ Yes, Chrysler does have an owners list, although I don't know how current. DUSTI Excellent idea possum ! That would be awesome !
Prowler crazy - GenoTex We should then, if possible... Perhaps they would be interested in posting even the ANNUAL event, wherever it might be.... Not too late for Texas even! DR PROWLER Why wait for 10 years...just think,we could have an Annual event at Conner Avenue...I'd be there for sure!
I like your idea,though...Phat Kat GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT IDEA!!! BeWare We would come for sure Karesel I would be in just have it during the summer months some of us are tied to the school year, my other half is a counselor... so anytime after about the 10th of June would work... meancat Remember there are some owners that have more then one prowler some have 15. So the majority of the owners are here. CJ quote:

I don't know how receptive Conner Avenue would be to have an annual event. Since Prowler is no longer produced there, they have pretty much removed all evidence of that, including the change in signs over the main doors at the plant. I was there last week and they do have a few pictures there, and the hoods, but that's about it. firegabe The BWM Z3 has an anual Z3 reunion at the South Carolina plant where they were made (nowmaking the Z4) it is a huge event. Who ever takes charge of this you can follow this premapped guideline from them. indy96 I think it's a great idea...if not Conner Ave. how about some other D/C spot. Heck, invite Vipers and PT's and Chrysler could use it as a "customer loyality" event. It could be AWESOME!
